1. Agreement
By downloading or using Brew Focus (the "App"), made by Badaró Apps ("we"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. The App is also covered by Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA). If they conflict, these Terms apply where the EULA allows.
2. What the App does
Brew Focus is a focus timer based on the Pomodoro technique. Each cycle brews a drink, apps you choose can be blocked during focus, and breaks only count while the phone is resting.
3. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, or use it for anything illegal.
4. Brew Focus Pro
Some features and drinks are part of Brew Focus Pro, sold through the App Store:
- Monthly and Yearly: auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial: if a plan offers one, it turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase with no renewal.
- Manage or cancel: in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: handled by Apple, under its rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore: use "Restore" in the App to get Pro back on a new device with the same Apple ID.
Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may change. A price change on a subscription follows Apple's rules and notices.
5. Optional account
You can use the App without an account. If you sign in with Apple, you are responsible for your Apple ID. You can delete your account at any time in the App's Settings. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Screen Time, alarms and sensors
Blocking apps, alarms and break detection depend on iOS features and the permissions you give. They may not work if a permission is off, if iOS limits them, or on devices without the needed sensors. Blocking apps is a help to focus, not a guarantee.
7. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors or always available, or that your data (on the device or synced) will never be lost.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Badaró Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using or not being able to use the App. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer laws that can't be waived.
9. Changes and ending
We may update the App and these Terms. If we change the Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page; using the App after that means you accept the new Terms. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
